“My name is Jillian, and I have the pleasure of being the Manager of Operations and Event Coordinator for Barn and Country Catering. For me, this is more than just a job. This is an opportunity to partake in a moment of time.

Food brings an element to an event that is both heartwarming and memorable. It brings people together, it invokes conversation, it creates memories.

Our goal at Barn and Country Catering is to make you feel like part of our family! We understand that these events and moments cannot be done over again and thus every detail has been thought out and poured over. We strive to offer the same level of service that matches the time and effort you have put into your day.

We look forward to working with you and getting to know you along the way!”

“Hello! I’m Chef Mark, the Journeyman Red Seal Chef and Head Baker for Barn and Country Catering.

My passion for cooking and baking started from a young age as I watched my mother create, experiment, and share the adventure that food is. Her kindness and creativity sparked a love inside of me for making and sharing food. I embarked on my own culinary journey by completing Sault College’s Culinary and Restaurant Management Course, apprenticing in Parry Sound Ontario, and growing in my skills and knowledge to attain my Journeyman Red Seal Chef certification.

I joined the Barn and Country team to share my expertise and partner in the vision to produce fresh entrees and sides and wholesome, high-quality baked goods. But, I got a little more than I bargained for at Barn and Country Catering—I met the love of my life. We are now happily married and our partnership drives each other in our passions, dreams, and pursuits.”

My hope is you enjoy your experience with Barn and Country and appreciate the time and attention to detail that has been poured into each and every item!

“Hi! My name is Sandra and I am the Head Cook for Barn and Country Catering!

I started working with Barn and Country a few years ago. It has been a joy to be able to come into work and do what I love to do. Food has a way of expressing itself in such a unique way! It might say “I love you” or “Please Enjoy!” Or “we will never forget you”. Creating food that is a part of these moments and messages is indeed an honour!

It makes the work I do have meaning and value. We hope you enjoy everything you receive from Barn and Country Catering, know that it has been made with love, and food that has been made with love always tastes a little sweeter.”

“I am Mackenzie, welcome to Barn and Country Catering!

When my parents called a family meeting and suggested that we buy a catering company I thought they were crazy! Running a company has enough challenges, and throwing family in the mix on top of that, even more crazy!

However, we went for it and the journey began. We have certainly had our ups and downs and moments of insanity along the way, but we have done so together. What we discovered was a beautiful opportunity for team work, family growth, and creating something together that we are all proud of and take great delight in.

My role with Barn and Country Catering is constantly shifting and growing. I am currently a member of the kitchen team, an event leader, the sole photographer, and the companies social media guru.

I love having something I can not only pour my passion, creativity, and excitement into, but I can do it with the people I love the most.”
